Kashipur is a city of Udham Singh Nagar district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, Kashipur is named after Kashinath Adhikari, the founder of the township and governor of the pargana, one of the officers of the Chand Kings of Kumaun in the 16th and 17th centuries. Kashipur remained under the rule of Chand Kings till the latter half of eighteenth century until Nand Ram, the then governor of Kashipur, became practically Independent.

Package Itinerary

Day 1:   Pantnagar - Kashipur

Pick-up from Pantnagar Airport, drive to Kashipur. check in at hotel & relax, evening free for individual activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 02:  Kashipur Local Sightseeing

Have your breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Kashipur Local Sightseens, Chaiti Devi temple, Shree Bheemshankar Mahadev Temple, Drona Sagar Lake, Giri Sarovar, Gurudwara Shri Nankana Sahib etc, Evening free for individual activates. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

 

Day 03:   Kashipur - Pantnagar

After early breakfast, drive back to Pantnagar. On arrive Pantnagar, transfer to Airport.

 

Tour concludes but sweet memories remains

By Train:

Kashipur Junction Railway Station (Station Code: KPV): A major railway junction on the North Eastern Railway network with direct trains connecting New Delhi (Corbett Park Link Express, Ranikhet Express link, Kashipur Old Delhi Express), Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ramnagar, and Lalkuan.

By Air:

Pantnagar Airport (Airport Code: PGH - 60 km east): Nearest domestic airport operating flights from New Delhi and Dehradun. Hill cabs reach Kashipur in approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. For international flights, Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL - 225 km west) is connected via a smooth 4 hour drive along the Delhi Meerut Moradabad expressway corridor.

By Road:

  • From Delhi (~225 km / 4 to 4.5 hours): Via Delhi Meerut Expressway, Hapur bypass, Garhmukteshwar, Moradabad bypass, and Kashipur (NH-09 / NH-309).
  • From Ramnagar / Jim Corbett (~28 km / 35 minutes): Smooth 4 lane highway along NH-309.
  • From Nainital (~85 km / 2.5 hours): Via Kaladhungi or Bazpur route.
  • From Haridwar / Dehradun (~155 km / 3.5 hours): Via Najibabad, Jaspur, and Kashipur.
  • UTC, UPSRTC, and private AC deluxe buses run continuously from Anand Vihar ISBT (Delhi) to Kashipur.

The most revered spiritual landmark of Kashipur, dedicated to Goddess Bala Sundari (Maa Chaiti Devi). The temple hosts the legendary annual *Chaiti Mela* during Chaitra Navratri in March April, attracting hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi NCR.
