Literally translating to 'House of Groves' in the local language Malayalam, Thoppil House is the epitome of old Kerala architecture of the late 19th century. Ancient wooden staircases and old doors made of Indian teakwood take you in to a different world. The accompanying furniture complements the beauty of this architecture: some of them being handed down from generation to generation in the Thoppil family.
