Rahatgarh is a town and a nagar panchayat in Sagar district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. to Sagar Division. It is located 41 KM towards west from District head quarters Sagar. It is a Tehsil head quarter. An inscription of the Paramara king Jayavarman II,was issued at Rahatgarh. It is possible that Jayavarman captured the area from the Chandelas.
