The Bandhavgarh National Park is rated amongst the best national parks of India. Spread over an area of approximately 400 sq. km, the park comprises undulating hills, steep ridges, lush green forest and open meadows, along with diverse flora and fauna. It is divided into three major zones, namely Tala, Magdi and Bamera, with the first being the most famous for its high density of tigers. Once a favourite hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa, it is a natural habitat of a rich variety of wildlife, including the Royal Bengal tigers. Other attractions are leopard, sloth bear, sambhar, nilgai, striped hyena and wild boar, among others. The verdant forests and grasslands are home to colourful birds, insects and herbivore.
Day 01: Delhi
You will arrive at Delhi International airport, where you will be received by our representatives and taken you to the hotel. You will stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Umariya
Today, you will eave for Umariya, by overnight train. You will have your lunch and dinner in the train itself and spend the night onboard.
Day 03: Umariya - Bandhavgarh
You will reach Umariya early in the morning. From there, you will be taken to Bandhavgarh National Park. After arriving at Bandhavgarh, check in to the resort. Freshen up and leave for a short trip of the National Park, which is set amidst the Vindhya Range of mountains By evening, you will return to the resort for overnight stay.
Day 04: Bandhavgarh Sightseeing
This day will be reserve for going on a jungle safari. You will explore the forest, full of Sal trees, bamboo, and other tropical forest trees. The rich wildlife of Bandhavgarh includes tigers, white tigers, gaur (Indian bison), sloth bear, leopard, porcupine, wild boar, sambhar and spotted deer. You will also explore an ancient fort built at the altitude of 800 meters. Overnight stay will be in the resort.
Day 05: Bandhavgarh - Kanha
Today, you will leave Bandhavgarh for Kanha. After reaching there, you will check in to the resort. Thereafter, you will leave on a tour of the National Park. The park has many tigers inside, which can be seen within ten meters of distance. You will return to your resort by evening, for overnight stay.
Day 06: Kanha Sightseeing
Exploration of Kanha national park is still incomplete. Today we will go on a safari of the park. You will leave your resort after breakfast to visit the park. Here you will see tiger, deer, languor, barasingha, guar, and wild dogs. After visiting Kanha, you will return to your resort for overnight stay.
Day 07: Kanha Sightseeing
Kanha National Park is so large and full of rich wild life that exploring it in one day is not possible. Today, you will have interactive experience with wildlife of the park. Here, you see deer along the greenery, apart from langurs, wild boar, waterfowl and birds. By evening, you will return to your resort for overnight stay.
Day 08: Kanha - Jabalpur - Delhi
In the morning, you will leave Kanha for Jabalpur, where you will have your lunch. Thereafter, you will board the overnight train for Delhi. When you are journeying through train, enjoy the beautiful surroundings on both sides of the railway line.
Day 09: Departure from Delhi
You will arrive in Delhi in the morning. Thereafter, you will check in to the hotel and freshen up. Following this, you will leave on a short sightseeing tour of the city and visit Lotus Temple, Humayun's Tomb, Akshardham Temple, India Gate and Connaught Place. By late evening, you will come back to the hotel, pack you bags and leave for the airport.
