There are two important temples, dedicated to the Lord Sri. Venkateswara Swamy and Dharmaraja. A festival in honour of Dharmaraja is celebrated once in 10 years for a period of 23 days and thousands of devotees congregate on this occasion. Gudur town is also a famous lemon export center.
